Why Booth & Bench exists
Fixed seating is the backbone of a pub or restaurant, and it is surprisingly hard to buy well. Off-the-shelf booths come in lengths that never match an old building. Local joinery shops build beautifully but slowly, and at a price many independent operators and small groups struggle to carry. Booth & Bench (a line by EASEN Commercial Furniture) sits in between: settles, booths and banquettes made to your measurements, in our own factory, without wholesaler margins.
How we work
We work from drawings. You send a survey, a floor plan or photographs with dimensions, and we lay out the runs, quote per metre and produce drawings for every section, dimensioned in millimetres. Production begins only when you have approved those drawings and, if you wish, a sample. Fire specification, fabric and delivery route are settled at the same stage, not discovered later.
The factory
Our production base is in Lecong, Shunde District, Foshan, in Guangdong, China, an area known as the largest furniture trading hub in the world. Around us are frame makers, foam converters, timber workshops, metalworkers and fabric suppliers, which means we can build timber settles, buttoned backs and awkward shapes without each one becoming a special order.
We are open about where we make our seating. Being made in China means being close to the materials and skills that commercial seating relies on, and shipping direct to your door; it does not mean cutting corners on construction or fire safety.
Who it is for
Independent pubs and restaurants planning a refurbishment. Pub groups and operators who need a dependable route to consistent fixed seating. Shopfitters and designers who need a manufacturer that follows a drawing and delivers sections labelled, on time and ready to fix.
Experience
Booth & Bench draws on EASEN's wider commercial furniture work, including complete dining-room fit-outs for a Sichuan restaurant in Beijing, the CHIO café-lounge in Guangzhou, a Sichuan restaurant in Hangzhou and a hot pot restaurant in Hanzhong. Each of those rooms depended on seating built for heavy, all-day service, which is the standard we bring to every settle and booth.
Lead times are typically 30–45 days for standard designs and 45–60 days for bespoke work after approvals, plus transit, and are confirmed in each quotation.
