The Grand Café is a brasserie banquette built for long walls: 2,400 mm in a single run, upholstered in deep oxblood leather or faux leather, with the back divided into five horizontal bands about 220 mm each. A brass stud marks each band end.
Above it runs a twin-tube brass luggage rack on four brackets, about 1,400 mm above the seat, for coats, hats and shopping bags, so they stay off the seat and out of the gangway. A slim brass trim runs the full length of the banquette without a joint.
Where it works. Brasseries, grand cafés, station bars and city-centre restaurants where guests arrive with coats and bags.
Construction. Rigid seat box, braced back frame, banded upholstery over firm foam, brass rack fixed to the wall structure. Longer runs are built in sections that join beneath the bands.
Options. Length, band spacing, leather or faux leather colour, rack or no rack, trim finish.
