The Bobbin chair has turned bobbin legs and back posts, two slim back rails and a seat woven in natural cord. It is a lighter, more decorative chair than a hoop-back, suited to snugs, restaurant rooms and café-bars that want a little personality around the tables.
The woven seat gives slightly under the sitter and stays cool. In service it is best used where guests sit for meals rather than as a bar chair taking constant traffic, and woven seats can be re-strung when worn.
Construction. Solid timber frame with bobbin-turned posts and legs, jointed rails, woven cord seat over a timber seat frame.
Pairing. Works well with the Fairweather Oak Settle, the Cotswold bench and dark-stained booths.
Fire safety. No upholstery as standard; if you add seat pads, specify them to BS 7176 at the right hazard level.
Options. Stain colour, cord colour, seat pad, glides.
