The Tap Room is a traditional hoop-back chair: a curved hoop framing a fan of shaped back splats, a solid saddle-shaped timber seat, and turned legs joined by an H-stretcher. Shown in a dark walnut stain that sits with dark timber settles and booths.
It is the natural partner for banquettes and booths in a traditional pub: light enough to move around, strong enough to be rocked on, and without upholstery to stain or wear.
Construction. Solid timber throughout, jointed and glued legs and stretchers, shaped solid seat, finish chosen to resist spills and daily cleaning.
Fire safety. As an unupholstered timber chair, the main fire considerations are the finish and any seat pad added later; pads should be specified to BS 7176 at the right hazard level.
Options. Stain colour, seat pad, floor glides to suit timber, tile or stone.
