Booths rarely wear out as a whole. They fail at two points: the front edge of the seat, rubbed pale by every guest who slides in, and the exposed ends, scuffed and split by chairs and trolleys. The Long-Service booth makes both of those parts replaceable.
A strip of dark chestnut leather wraps the seat front and is held at each end by press-fit brass clips, so it can be removed in seconds and replaced. Each end of the booth carries a removable brass corner guard. The seat cushion itself can also be replaced on its own.
What it saves. Instead of re-upholstering a whole booth because the front edge has worn, you replace a strip. Instead of re-covering an end panel, you change a guard.
Construction. Rigid seat box, braced back frame, firm seat foam, replaceable edge strip and guards, recessed plinth.
Options. Edge strip material and colour, guard finish (brass, bronze, black), length, back style.
